we are here!!!!

we made it!!! we arrived in gaborone on time and all is well... the church is very glad to have us here and we are pumped to have an amazing 10 days while we are here...
here are some humerous notes of the day: this feature will be called "afriCANTics (that' a contraction for africa antics)...
1. nathan accidently purchased "sparkling water" instead of "spring water"... no biggie right? well, it was disgusting- so in an effort to "help it out a bit" he decides to make sparkling "koolaid" with a pack of koolaid powder.... well..... sparkling water + koolaid powder = explosive chemistry experiment...
2. "hunter.... make sure you check out the boys room at the hotel".... hunter enters..... finds women...... hunter exits quickly (after a brief conversation consisting of "oops, wrong one, my bad...." the woman's response was "what is that smell???...... i smell some feet"... hunter's reply.... "my bad")
3. debrief time..... question was "what have you noticed about gaborone?" .... kim's sleep deprived response...."iv'e noticed everything seems safe........ they've taken safety measures to keep out the lions"
4. achmed abinijad.... LOTS of laughs!!!!!
5. hunter's journal for the trip is PINK.... hot pink!!!
6. anna's attempt to pull a "jacob vining" by reaching for sunglasses behind an "invisible" glass case!!!....... on the floor in laughter.......................................LITERALLY
7. hunter's repeated attempts to perform a "magic trick" in the joburg airport for 17 hours........................failure....................failure................failure................failure.............failure ......... SUCCESS (well almost)!!!!
